Mungthala Tirth situated in Arbudagiri in Sirohi district of Rajasthan, is know for meditation done here by Bhagwan Mahavir Swami during his life as a sadhu bhagwant. Situated at 70 km distance from sirohi city, Mungthala Tirth has facility of bhojanshala (on request) and Dharamshala.

This temple was renovated, and main deity idol installed again on Vaishakh Sud 10th day of Vikram Samvat 1959 by Acharya Shree Mahendra Surishwarji. Then as time passed by, it was again in the ruins. Then on Vaishakh Sud 10th day of Vikram Samvat 2015, it was renovated again by Acharya Shree Vijay Harsh Surishwarji.

Mungthala Tirth situated in Arbudagiri in Sirohi district of Rajasthan, is know for meditation done here by Bhagwan Mahavir Swami during his life as a monk.

This temple was renovated on Fagun Sud 2nd day of Vikram Samvat 2067 by none other than the Benefactor of Diksha, Acharya Shree GunRatnaSuriShwarji. There is a nice arrangement for boarding, lodging and food. This tirth is 13 kilometers from Abu Road and 37 kilometers from Jiravala Jain Tirth.

How to Reach

Moongthala Jain Temple is located 78 KM from Sirohi City on National Highway 62. Nearest Airport to reach Tirth is Udaipur. It is around 160 km. The nearest Abu Road railway station which is connected to Ahmedabad-Delhi train route, is at distance of 13 kilometres. Bus service and private vehicles are available. Boarding and lodging provisions are there in the compound of the temple.
